Counter-Notification (Response to a DMCA Notice)
If you believe that material you posted or made available was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our Copyright Agent that includes:
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, address, phone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your judicial district (or the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama if outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the DMCA notice or their agent.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material in question within 10–14 business days, unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a lawsuit seeking to restrain the alleged infringement.
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA, it is our policy to terminate accounts of repeat infringers when appropriate.
